Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019
Friday
Celebration went to a lottery system this year for the main panels instead of making people wait in line overnight. So I actually got to go to the opening Rise of Skywalker panel this year, which I would have never see otherwise since I've never had the patience to wait overnight.
Saturday
The Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order panel was today where they introduced a new stomtrooper, the Purge Trooper. That's the black armor & red visor trooper in the photos.
Sunday
It was an unexpected snow day today, when Chicago got hit with a few inches of snow in mid-April. I was horribly unprepared. Worked out well for all the people who brought Hoth gear.
Monday
Today was pretty empty. Usually Celebrations are Thurs-Sun, and the Fri-Mon block this year meant a lot of people headed back home early.
