The second largest procession of the week behind Jui Tui.
No giant scissors this year!
By far the largest procession of the festival, the actual shrine where the piercings are done very quickly becomes too crowded to move, so most of these photos are of the procession through the street.
The final street procession of the festival.
The street procession doesn't start here - everyone loads up in trucks and then drives off to Phuket Town once all the piercings are finished.
One of the smaller shrines and not very crowded. The yellow umbrella guy ended up being a "leaker" who wouldn't stop bleeding and had to call it off.
The second to last street procession of the festival, the morning after the largest procession at Jui Tui. This one is another really early start - I got there at 5:20 am and things had already started. By 6:30 am the shrine was too crowded and I had to move to the street route.
The first street procession of the festival, at one of the smaller shrines. This was the one day that had significant rain in the morning.
