The second largest procession of the week behind Jui Tui.
Pineapples, ukuleles, and the giant scissors from 2019 make another appearance.
By far the largest procession of the festival, I had to bail out of the temple itself pretty early due to so many people. So there are not a lot of photos of the actual piercings taking place, but a ton of photos of the actual street procession - and the sun actually made an appearance for most of the morning.
The final day of the festival, which fell on October 5 this year.
This temple always kicks off earlier in the morning than all the others. I got there at 5:30 am this year and things were already well underway. I plan on getting there at 4:30 am next year. The street procession doesn't start here - everyone loads up in trucks and then drives off to Phuket Town once all the piercings are finished.
Second procession of the festival, and my first day this year. It's one of the smaller temples and not very crowded.
Tire pumps, yarn, and more pineapples.
Some random videos I took showing a few of the piercings and other things that happen during the street processions.
